Girl Scout troop 70260 is working with the Hopewell Valley Mobile Food Pantry to help families in need. After brainstorming the needs of the families, the HOPEWELL HELPING HUNGER program was born. The HOPEWELL HELPING HUNGER program allows dedicated community members like you, to help families in need create a unique dinner experience for their families.
So how does the program work?
Through coordinated efforts with the Hopewell Valley Mobile Food Pantry, Pennington Quality Market (PQM), Girl Scout troop 70260, meal kit ideas have been put together to help shoppers find the items needed to contribute to the Hopewell Helping Hunger Program.
Step 1: Click on “GS troop 70260 Meal Kit Recipes” below to find the items needed to create the unique experience for the families in need
Step 2: Purchase the items on the shopping list from PQM
Step 3: Drop off items in the bin located at the PQM checkout or drop off at the Hopewell Valley Mobile Food Pantry (425 South Main St, Pennington, NJ 08534)
Step 4: Share your great work with family and friends to help keep the program strong and help families in need.

The Bronze Award is the highest award a Girl Scout Junior can earn. To earn it, you and your team will identify a community issue you care about. (Your team is you and other Girl Scout Juniors who are going on this adventure with you, plus your troop/group volunteer.) You’ll research what causes your issue, come up with a solution, and work with your community to make a plan that brings the solution to life.
